This week in Sharklahoma

Each week the Jenks Chamber of Commerce hosts several events as part of “Sharklahoma”, its shark-themed tourism effort. Here is a list of this week’s events.

July 15:

  • Shark Feed: 1:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

July 17:

  • Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell at the Jenks Chamber monthly luncheon: 12 p.m. at The Hive.
  • Marine Biologist for a day: Beginning at 8 a.m. at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

July 18:

  • Summer in the Park music and movie night – Shark Tale: 6 p.m. at Jenks Downtown Commons, 224 E. A Street.
  • Shark Feed: 1:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

July 21:

  • Pinot’s Palette at the Aquarium – “Yer Gonna Need a Bigger Boat”: 4 p.m. to 6 at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

Hayden Tucker

Hayden Tucker is the Sports Editor and Director of Media for the Jenks Tribune. He has three years of experience in newspaper journalism before joining the Tribune. Tucker was born in McAlester, then moved to the Oklahoma City area in 2010 where he lived for nine years prior to moving to Jenks.
