NATIONAL SIGNING DAY: Waylon Adams makes it official with Tulsa
Jenks senior Waylon Adams signed his letter of intent Wednesday morning to play college football at the University of Tulsa.
Adams was the starting tight end and played many snaps on the defensive line for the Trojans’ in their 2020 6A-1 state championship run.
Adams on why he chose Tulsa:
“It was a combination of the great football program and the great academics that was the determining factor that led me to committing to Tulsa.”
How Jenks has helped prepare him for the next level:
“Playing at Jenks was an awesome experience, especially with our coaches. I think they have developed us to where we are able to go into college more prepared than a lot of other places from the discipline aspect.”
