NATIONAL SIGNING DAY: Jayden Patrick headed to Lindenwood

Jenks senior Jayden Patrick signed his letter of intent Wednesday morning to play college football at Lindenwood University.

Patrick was a starting receiver and cornerback for the Trojans and helped lead Jenks to a 6A-1 state title in 2020.

Patrick on why he chose Lindenwood:

“I really liked the coaching staff. Thinking about it, they reminded me of our coaching staff here. Ultimately, I wanted to go over there and live in another Jenks-type of culture.”

How Jenks has helped prepare him for the next level:

“Going to school and Jenks and playing football at Jenks does a lot because our coaches teach us how to be great young men. Our peers hold us accountable to stuff we need to do whether it be meetings or practices, our teammates, peers and coaches always hold us accountable.”
