Jenks Police seek help from public regarding June 12 armed robbery
June 12 around 12:10 p.m. Jenks Police officers were dispatched to the Elwood Convenience Store for an armed robbery with a firearm.
A white male wearing a black Vans T-shirt, blue jeans and a black RCVA hat with his face covered by a mask approached a store clerk and pointed a handgun demanding money.
The suspect fled the store with the cash register drawer and fled the area in a late 1990’s to early 2000’s model four-door Ford F-150 with chrome sidesteps.
The F-150 had a front University of Oklahoma vanity plate along with a metal toolbox in the bed of the truck. A paper tag was affixed to the rear bumper.
