World-renowned photographers to join Oklahoma Aquarium on Facebook Live
The Oklahoma Aquarium will host two world-renowned photographers on Facebook Live this week.
The first will be Daniel Rolider at 1 p.m. Wednesday and the second will be Brian Skerry at 3 p.m. Friday.
About Daniel Rolider
Rolider is a photojournalist, whose work focuses on environmental issues and the relationship between humans and nature. Rolider’s work has been published by the New York Times, National Geographic, ESPN, PDN, Musee, Israeli Photography Blog of Haaretz and Yedioth Aharonot.
Last December, Rolider documented the Oklahoma Aquarium’s cross-training sessions with its sister aquarium, the Gottesman Family Israel Aquarium in Jerusalem.
About Brian Skerry
In his presentation, “Sharks – From Shadows to Light”, Skerry will give a brief overview of his work with sharks. Through science and photojournalism, Skerry celebrates sharks’ magnificence and tries to change the way the world views them. Skerry is a photojournalist specializing in marine wildlife and underwater environments. He is a photographer for the National Geographic Magazine covering a wide range of subjects and stories. Skerry is also an 11-time award winner in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
