UPDATE from Jenks Schools: Parents must have children present to receive ‘Trojan Take-Out’ meal
“Trojan Take-Out” began Monday with Jenks Public Schools delivering free meals from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. to anyone 18 years or younger.
The program will run Monday through Friday at the Jenks High School Dining Hall, 205 E. B St. in Jenks.
Free grab-and-go meals will be available for pick-up during those hours. Breakfast and lunch will be available at the same time.
Those wishing to grab a meal are asked to pull up to the front of the dining hall in the bus oval and remain in their cars while the food is delivered to their vehicles.
School district officials said after day one that parents must have their children with them in order to receive a meal.
