Jenks Public Schools to offer free take-out meals starting Monday
Jenks Public Schools is closed at least until April 6 due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but the district is still finding ways to serve its students.
Beginning Monday, “Trojan Take-Out” will be available for children 18 years and younger. The program will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Jenks High School Dining Hall, 205 E. B St. in Jenks.
Free grab-and-go meals will be available for pick-up during those hours. Breakfast and lunch will be available at the same time.
Those wishing to grab a meal are asked to pull up to the front of the dining hall in the bus oval and remain in their cars while the food is delivered to their vehicles.
