OBITUARY: Thomas William (T.W.) Holland

Thomas William (T.W.) Holland of Jenks, Oklahoma passed from this life on March 9, 2020 at 86 years of age at his home in Jenks, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born on March 29, 1933 in Drummond, Oklahoma to William Marrion and Minnie Elrine (Rhodes) Holland.

T.W. was a hard-working and determined man all of his life and began his working career in the road construction business. T.W. and his wife, Rena, traveled and lived all over the United States with their three children, building the interstates that we still use today. T.W. and Rena decided to settle down in Jenks, Oklahoma in the early 1960s when their children were starting school. T.W. always had an entrepreneurial drive. After moving to Jenks, T.W. made friends with a local roofer and together, they founded the Jenks Roofing Company. After some time, T.W. became the sole owner of the company, which led to his thirty year career in the roofing business. Over those thirty years, T.W. was able to acquire a multitude of real estate properties that helped propel him into the rental property business. Running his business alongside his hardworking wife, Rena, was what truly made T.W. happy. He also found joy in talking to his family, friends and business acquaintances regularly. There was never a day that T.W. was not laughing. He will always be remembered for his ambition and infectious laughter.

 He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 64 years, Rena Lou Holland; his siblings, Florene Wilkerson of Enid, OK, and Floyd Holland of Fairview, OK; his children, Candice Graham of Broken Arrow, OK, and Kevin Holland and wife Susie of Tulsa, OK; nine grandchildren, Celeste Fisher and husband William of Sapulpa, OK, Jeffrey Graham, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, Austin Holland of Nashville, TN, Brian Holland and wife Kristen of Broken Arrow, OK, Kelsey Heggy and husband Stephen of Yukon, OK, Daltin Holland and wife Lisa of Cordell, OK, Mickaela Ellard and husband Reed of Yukon, OK, Blake Holland and wife Erin of Owasso, OK, and Lindsey Haney and husband Jon of Tulsa, OK, T.W. is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Jocelynne Graham of Sapulpa, OK, Kristyn Franklin of Tulsa, OK, Raeleanah Graham of Oklahoma City, OK, Kayla Arnold and Gunner Holland of Broken Arrow, OK, and Paytin and Camber Holland of Cordell, OK; one great-great-grandchild, Alana Franklin of Tulsa, OK, and two babies that will arrive in May and July of 2020.

T.W. was preceded by his parents, William and Minnie Holland; four sisters, Neda Wilkerson, Katherine Anderson, Minnie Holland and Betty Jean McGregor; one son, Anthony Holland; and close family friend, Curtis Cockrell.

A service honoring the life of T.W. Holland will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Beaver Street Baptist Church, located at 102 W. Beaver St. in Jenks and is under the direction of Hargrove Marker Funeral and Cremation Services.

Pallbearers are Brian Holland, Blake Holland, Jon Haney, J.R. Graham, Reed Ellard and Stephen Heggy. Honorary pallbearers are Gary (Mayor) Roach and Troy Don Ramey.
