Allan Trimble book, ‘Golden Years’, to be released Wednesday

A book titled, “Golden Years”, highlighting legendary Jenks football coach Allan Trimble’s career as the face of Trojan football, will be released Wednesday.

Trimble passed away Dec. 1 following a three-year battle with ALS. He was the head football coach at Jenks High School from 1996 through 2017 and led the Trojans to 13 state titles in that time frame.

“Golden Years”, published by Samantha Ryan of Yorkshire Publishing, covers more than two decades of Jenks football history complete with photos, statistics and inspirational messages.

The book release event will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sharp Center at Jenks High School on the north end of Allan Trimble Stadium.

Following the Wednesday launch, there will be two public selling dates at the Sharp Center lobby. The first will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited to come meet Courtney Trimble, wife of the late Allan Trimble, and purchase copies of “Golden Years”.
